This was the first time I’ve photographed a wedding at a private residence, and I have to say, I loved it!  Patrick and Michala had their wedding at a private home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri and it was absolutely perfect.

The property was in Lee’s Summit but felt like we were in the country.  The peace and quiet of being away from the city created an amazing, laid back wedding day.

The ceremony was held in front of a setting sun with all the couples friends and family watching on.  They went straight into the most beautiful sunset photos and my favorite part of the day.  With the pond and an old windmill as a backdrop, we captured the rural feel of the property and the love between this couple.

They finished their evening with Barbeque, cake, and a whole lot of dancing.  Congrats to this sweet couple!
