I’m not sure you could ask for a more perfect day for a wedding!  Alex and Joe’s Powell Gardens Summer Wedding was everything you’d want for your wedding day and a photographer’s dream!  The chapel at Powell Gardens always provides amazing photos and the property at Powell was bursting with colors.

We had beautiful sunlight behind the chapel after the ceremony and the photos we took in that location are probably my favorite from the entire day.  Alex looked stunning in her gown and cathedral length veil.  The green grass and warm sunlight made her look angelic! 🙂

After photos at the chapel we headed to the Powell Gardens perennial garden for more photos!  During the summer this location is stunning!  Especially when you’re in a wedding gown and tux!  After finishing bride and groom photos we headed to the grand hall for the reception.

The reception was filled with family, memories and several touching tributes.  I had such a wonderful time at this Powell Gardens summer wedding and was honored to be a part of such an amazing day!  Congrats to Alex and Joe!
