When I say that Molly and Eric’s wedding day was windy, you will never understand how windy if you weren’t there. This beautiful Kansas Wedding was not just the windiest wedding I’ve ever shot, but maybe the windiest day of my life! Molly and Eric embraced the day and I love that the photos reflect both what a windy day it was, but also how much these two love each other.
We started this wedding day at Molly’s home. She got ready in her childhood room with her close family and friends beside her. Her mom helped her into her dress before her first look with her dad and her bridesmaids.
After getting ready we met the groom at Good Shepherd Catholic Church for a first look and the couple’s wedding ceremony. The couple said their “I do’s” in front of family and friends then headed to Due West Ranch for their reception.
Spring in the Midwest can be wild. Will we have rain, snow, thunder, lightening, tornados, heat, cold, wind? You just never know! The day was a typical spring day with some really wild wind. It didn’t stop Eric and Molly or their wedding party. Everyone embraced the wind and I had a great time photographing these two and their friends and family!
