I knew my son’s senior year at Staley High School would be equal parts exciting and sad for me. While I’m always thrilled to see the boys grow and reach new milestones in life, I know the phase that comes after this one is spreading his wings. I constantly remind myself to enjoy the season of life that I’m in and not think too much about the changes that are coming! Taking his senior photos may have been bittersweet, but it was also the most fun I’ve had a session!
Thinking back to the days of him toddling around and me begging him to sit still for a photo, to this session seeing a young man ready to take on the world! Daniel was a great sport, going to three different locations with me and even keeping a smile on his face!
We started at the Nelson Atkins Museum and then headed to a few of my favorite downtown locations where there are KC murals and gorgeous views of the city skyline.
I will always treasure these photos! Not just because they’re of my son, but because the entire afternoon was a fond memory for me. Congrats Daniel, go do great things!
