For all the years I’ve lived in Kansas City, last weekend was my first time at Powell Gardens. The grounds, the chapel, the barns, and of course the flowers, did not disappoint. The entire property is beautiful. Chris and Gabby picked the perfect venue for their September Wedding. A Powell Gardens Wedding and a reception at the Missouri Barn at Powell Gardens made for the perfect day.
The color palette Gabby chose was a perfect transition from Summer to Fall. Her bridesmaids wore green while her bouquet had the most beautiful greens, yellows and oranges. Victorian Gardens did a fantastic job of creating bouquets full of texture and dimension.
After their first look, Chris, Gabby, and I traveled the property finding the perfect spots for portraits. I think we did a great job showcasing the beauty of Powell Gardens! After portraits they had the most beautiful ceremony at the Powell Gardens Chapel. With all the windows and natural light the chapel is the dreamiest location to get married.
Chris and Gabby’s wedding day ended with with a reception at the Missouri Barn. An excellent dinner, sunset photos, and dancing capped off a wonderful day.
