Mike and Kara’s wedding at the Heartland Lodge in Kingsville,MO was my first wedding at this venue.  I absolutely love shooting wedding days that are all in one location.  From getting ready to the end of the reception every part of the day is in one spot and no one has to travel!

The Heartland Lodge is a great venue for any wedding, but especially a rainy day wedding.  The inside of the venue is just as beautiful as the property outside and the covered patio provided the perfect spot for photos when the rain was coming down!

The gorgeous color palette and the many personal touches that the couple included made the venue a warm and inviting location for their family and friends.  

The ceremony was moved inside because of the rain but the skies cleared in time for sunset photos.  We got to see the sun for just a few minutes and ended up with beautiful and romantic photos of the couple.  Congrats to Mike and Kara!
