I’ve been so excited to get this wedding on the blog. Emory and Kara’s beautiful Oliver Building Wedding in June was the perfect urban Kansas City Wedding. I always love photographing new venues and this venue is both new to me and new to Kansas City.
The Oliver Building sits in the West Bottoms area of Kansas City. An Industrial area full of brick, and metal, and Kansas City history. I loved finding unique photo locations for this wedding. From underneath the 12th street bridge, to a white washed brick wall, and even an empty parking lot, we found several great spots that kept with the theme of a downtown KC wedding.
Every part of this wedding day, from getting ready, to the wedding ceremony, to the reception, was inside the beautiful Oliver Building. We even used the street in front of the Oliver for sunset photos. I was thrilled to be part of this beautiful wedding and so happy for Emory and Kara!
