Spring in Kansas City is the perfect time for any type of photo session. It’s especially great for a downtown KC engagement. Eric and Molly were supposed to be getting married on this date. Because of COVID they moved their wedding date but decided they could still enjoy the day and scheduled their engagement instead!
We started the session at Burr Oak Woods in Blue Springs,MO. Eric said they loved the outdoors and wanted photos in a spot that represented their love of nature. The tall trees at Burr Oaks are always a hit! After Burr Oaks we headed to the Nelson Atkins Museum for some downtown KC engagement photos.
I was at the Nelson several times this Spring and every time was just more beautiful than the last. The flowering trees provide such a gorgeous backdrop for photos. The combination of architecture and nature make the Nelson one of my favorite locations in Kansas City!
I’m so happy that Eric and Molly were able to get dressed up and turn their original wedding date into something special!
