I remember thinking, “I hope it snows” when Jonathan and Maria booked me for their Winter Wedding at Stoney Creek Hotel.  As their big day approached I kept an eye on the weather and was SO EXCITED when the forecast called for snow!

Their day started out cold and dry, but by mid afternoon the snow was falling.  I’m so happy that this couple and their entire wedding party were willing to brave the wind, cold, and snow to capture some of my all time favorite photos.  When I say “all time” I mean it!  The snow on their wedding day was so perfect.  Big, fluffy, snowflakes and not a lot of wind made for the perfect winter wedding day!

The property at Stoney Creek Hotel in Independence, MO is a fantastic location for wedding photos.  The tall grass, trees, and lake, combined with the falling snow were a perfect back drop.  I’m so happy to have been a part of Jonathan and Maria’s wedding day and I’m certain they’ll cherish these photos as much as I do!
