A perfect summer day in Kansas City.  Full of wildflowers, pups, and city views.  Emory and Kara’s Burr Oaks and downtown KC Engagement session had it all.
August and September seem to have the best wildflowers in Kansas City, and this year did not disappoint.  Burr Oaks was absolutely exploding with flowers for this session.  I love the tall trees at Burr Oaks, but the fields of flowers are by far my favorite!
After getting our fill of nature, we headed downtown to the Liberty Memorial and were blessed with the best sunset.  The warm, soft glow of the setting sun makes for the dreamiest photos!  
If you’re looking for outfit inspiration these two did a perfect job.  Kara’s top added the perfect pop of color at Burr Oaks, while the softer neutrals were perfect for downtown KC. 
Capturing these photos made me so happy! I’m beyond thankful I got to capture the beauty of Burr Oaks and Downtown KC!
