No one planning a Spring wedding had a backup plan in case of a pandemic.  When COVID-19 arrived many couples scrambled to reschedule their weddings. Jacob and Madison were one of those couples.  What was supposed to be a Spring wedding reception in downtown KC, turned into the best little backyard wedding at their home in Waldo.  I’ve known Madison for several years.  She’s a fellow photographer and we’ve worked many weddings together.  I was thrilled to be a part of her wedding and even got to be the official witness! 🙂
Madison and Jacob showed that a wedding isn’t marriage. Marriage is love, marriage is commitment, marriage is overcoming hard times together. COVID-19 may have changed their plans but not their hearts.
