I photographed Jordan and Marissa’s Wedding last summer and was thrilled when Jordan contacted me this Winter.
Jordan and Marissa were both in town for the holidays and wanted photos of Kansas City while the two of them were decked out in their finest. We scheduled a Downtown Kansas City Winter Session that was one of my favorite sessions of the year.
We started at the Kauffman Center and had the most perfect weather and the most perfect light. Because the Kauffman has both architecture and a city view, it was exactly what the couple was looking for.
After the Kauffman Center we headed down to the Country Club Plaza to capture the Plaza lights. Going to the Plaza the last Saturday before Christmas is a brave decision. The parking and crowds were crazy, but we found a spot and captured the lights and the feel of the holidays.
One thing I’ve learned in this job is the importance of building relationships. I’m so glad I met this couple, and I hope we have many more photo sessions in the future!
