I met Wyatt and Leelynn at one of my weddings this summer and was so excited when they contacted me for their engagement photos! They’re getting married in Las Vegas this month but wanted local photos with the two of them and their precious pup! Shawnee Mission Park was the perfect spot for their engagement session.
Shooting the hour before sunset is always my favorite time of day for photos. Sometimes though, the sunset just seems to glow more than usual. This session was one of those nights.
After capturing some photos around the park we headed to one of the fields at the park. Fields of tall grass are always a great location for photos. The combination of a beautiful sunset and the amber colored grass made the ending of this session almost magical.
Finishing a session on such a high note always makes me happy! I am so in love with how these photos turned out. Wyatt and Leelynn were so much fun to work with and obviously so in love! I’m thrilled with how this Engagement session at Shawnee Mission Park turned out!
