Fall has made its way to Kansas City and Nick and Amanda had the perfect evening for their Loose Park and Liberty Memorial Engagement Session. They brought along their dog Maizy and we had so much fun.
Loose Park in October can sometimes be a little crazy. I like to refer to it as photographer Hunger Games. Everyone in Kansas City wants those beautiful Fall photos in a classic Kansas City location. While I used to avoid it during peak photography season, now I treat it like a challenge. How can I make it look like we were the only ones in the park? That’s my goal. Nick and Amanda were so great to work with, it was a breeze finding spots and avoiding the other 500 people in the park. 🙂
After Loose Park, we headed to the WW1 Museum and Liberty Memorial. Hands down the best location in Kansas City for skyline photos. On a dreary night it was great capturing the Western Auto Sign lit up in all its glory! At the end of our session Amanda said “thanks for making it fun.” To me, there is no better compliment! I love engagement sessions that feel effortless and fun. I can’t wait for Nick and Amanda’s 2020 Wedding!
