Chris and Gabby had a perfect evening for their Burr Oaks and Town of Kansas Bridge engagement session! Everyone in Kansas City has seen pictures of the tall trees at Burr Oaks Nature Center. It’s a great, and popular, location in Kansas City for Family or Engagement photos. In addition to the gorgeous trees, there are also beautiful fields of tall grass and wildflowers at Burr Oaks. I have to say, the fields are probably some of my favorite spots. Nothing beats a couple standing in a beautiful field, with the sun setting behind them. We stopped at several spots in Burr Oaks and got a great variety of photos. Trees, fields, flowers…..everything I love to include in photos.
After finishing up at Burr Oaks we headed downtown to the Town of Kansas Bridge in the Rivermarket area. I’ve visited this bridge before, but haven’t had a session here yet. It’s a really cool spot! No matter which direction you’re facing, the Town of Kansas bridge creates a great spot for photos. Whether it’s the sun setting on the Missouri River, or downtown Kansas City, each backdrop is fantastic and a great spot to showcase a couple in love. 🙂 Chris, Gabby, and I checked out all the locks on the bridge and wandered down to the river capturing the setting sun in the background. We finished on the bridge again just minutes before the sun set. A perfect ending to a perfect session!
