Styled shoots were one of my first steps into the world of wedding photography. They’re a great way to collaborate and get new content for my portfolio. When I found out about this tea party styled wedding shoot, I was thrilled! For those of you not familiar with what a styled shoot is, I can explain!
Basically, a styled shoot is a wonderful way for vendors to collaborate on a wedding that isn’t real. Florists, planners, photographers, bakers, artists, and vendors of all types come together to stage a wedding. Vendors gets to work together to showcase their talents and everyone gets great content for their portfolios, websites, and social media.
Last October I photographed a Styled Tea Party shoot at the Vintage House in Overland Park, KS. The Vintage House is an adorable venue that is great for small weddings, or events like parties and showers. From the gorgeous florals to the cotton candy topped champagne, every detail was perfect. The tea party theme was beautiful and I think these images would make Alice in Wonderland jealous. 😉
If you’re interested in booking a photography session please contact me for more information. I can’t wait to hear from you!
